We have a range of Real Ale. Betty Stogs is a classic pale amber mid strength bitter with distinct happy overtones. A beautifully balanced quaffing ale. Serve chilled if preferred. Contains Cornish malted barley and wheat. One of our best-selling beers, Betty Stogs Bitter is a perennial favourite, winning accolades and awards at beer festivals across the country.
Doom Bar is named after an infamous sandbank at the mouth of the Camel Estuary in North Cornwall. Doom Bar embodies many characteristics, which makes it worthy to carry the name of this natural wonder. It’s distinctive aroma and very fine balance sets it truly apart from other beers taking unsuspecting first time drinkers by surprise.
We also have different guest ales every month and our own Turks Head Ale on.
The Turks Head is a member of Cask Marque which helps to guarantee a great pint of Cask Ale.History

The Turks Head is located in historic Chapel Street, with many interesting shops including the beautiful and unique Egyptian House near the top end down to historic St Mary's Church at the bottom.
This leads down to the quay, Battery Rocks and the Jubilee Pool, one of the few remaining art deco style lidos in the UK. In adjacent St Anthony's Gardens there is a Fountain made from a single piece of granite over 12 feet in diameter.
It is also very close to beautiful Morrab Gardens with many subtropical species including banana trees and Cornish palms.
